Captain Jessica Barattin assumes command of the Carabinieri Company of Girifalco (in the province of Catanzaro). 41 years old, raised between the provinces of Bergamo and Belluno, after graduating from high school, she continued her studies at the University of Padua, where she obtained a master’s degree in Law.
In 2010, he joined the Carabinieri, attending the Marshals and Brigadiers School and obtaining a degree in Political Science, specialization “Social Security Operator” at the University of Florence.
As a non-commissioned officer, she was assigned to the Carabinieri Company of Termini Imerese (PA) and, subsequently, to the Anti-Crime Department of the ROS of Palermo, where she operated in a highly qualified investigative context. After attending the 58th “Application Course” at the Carabinieri Officers School in Rome, first, in 2018, she was Section Commander at the Investigative Unit of Reggio Calabria and subsequently, from 2021, at the Investigative Unit of Palermo, dealing with the search for fugitives and organized crime investigations.
