From home detention to prison bars. The State Police in Crotone carried out an arrest order against a local man, already known to the police for a long series of crimes including drug dealing, resisting a public official, theft and mistreatment.
The provision, issued by the Catanzaro Surveillance Office on the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office led by Prosecutor Domenico Guarascio, ordered the revocation of the benefit of house arrest due to repeated violations of the requirements imposed by the judge. A behavior that made the conditions for the continuation of the alternative measure invalid.
The Flying Squad policemen tracked down the man in the city center and transferred him directly to the Crotone prison, where he will have to serve the remaining sentence of 2 years and 9 months in prison.
The operation falls within the framework of the territorial control and anti-illegality services promoted by the Police Commissioner Renato Panvino, aimed at guaranteeing the execution of judicial measures and the safety of citizens.
