In six months of tensions in the Gulf, the way we look at the future has changed. Our way of living, of spending, even of being afraid has become different. The Hormuz blockade has left profound marks on the international economy and its long trail extends to the budgets of families and businesses. Italy is suffering, slowing down, trying to resist while the pressure on energy, gas and fuel prices returns to be felt with a force not seen for decades. After the summer, the risk is that the bill will become even heavier. Many families are already dealing with the need to make ends meet by reducing the superfluous and trying to keep together expenses that are increasingly difficult to compress: home, children, work, health. Because on some items you cannot simply choose to spend less.
