Peppe Scopelliti showed up without a jacket and on tiptoe at Palazzo Campanella. And he sat in the second row at the centre-right convention which revealed to the city, and above all to the voters of Reggio, the Roman lawyer Fabio Roscioli, the FI candidate who emerged from the Roman test tube to act as liaison officer between the mayor of Reggio and the Meloni government. At least this is the official narrative of FI… Yet that of Peppe Scopelliti was the name among the most praised by those who presented themselves at the microphone to harangue a packed Federica Monteleone room and exhibit the sumptuous grandeur of a united, dazzling and (almost) invincible centre-right. Roberto Occhiuto mentioned it several times and then also the plenipotentiary of FdI Wanda Ferro… sic transit Gloria mundi!
