The litmus test! It was none other – as will be remembered – than the bugaboo of every pupil who became a student; litmus test algorithm that provides a condition for verifying the accuracy of the result of an arithmetic operation between integers.
It will be there shortly, towards the end of the month, when the San Giovanni municipal council will be called to approve the 2026 budget, which is precisely the litmus test between the executive that supports the mayor Antonio Barile who has 6 councilors, against the 10 of the centre-right who are opposition but majority in the Assizes, headed by president Marco Ambrogio: Barile’s antagonist defeated in the run-off on 8 June.
Unsolved problem: Ambrogio made it known and declared that «if the budget prepared by the outgoing council (with him as councilor) arrives for examination, there will be a green light; vice versa, Mayor Barile will have to go and find the votes.”
From his position, Barile, with the support of the council and mostly of the branch councilor Giuseppe Iaquinta, are working to bring 2 options to the assembly for consideration.
