The investigations: from shots in the air to the target washing machine
The investigation is part of a targeted monitoring of the criminal dynamics affecting the Arghillà area. The investigators managed to shed light on episodes with a high rate of social alarm linked to the unscrupulous use of firearms. At the center of the protests is, in particular, what happened in the night of January 1, 2026. On that occasion, the suspects – together with a minor – would have brought two pistols and at least four rifles with related ammunition to a public place, exploding a total of approximately a hundred gunshots.
The methods reconstructed by the investigators are particularly disturbing: some of the bullets would have exploded at eye level and aimed at a washing machine used as a targetgenerating a situation of serious danger and very strong concern among the residents of the neighborhood.
Destroyed cameras and control of the territory
The investigative activity also made it possible to shed light on further intimidating episodes that occurred in two separate occasions between January and May 2026. In those circumstances, some subjects would have targeted the surveillance cameras installed in the area, damaging them and making them unusable again through the use of gunfire.
The evidentiary framework collected through technical activities and investigative findings has allowed the Prosecutor’s Office to outline the responsibilities borne by the six recipients of the precautionary measures.
