In the balance sheets of the Calabrian municipalities, almost one billion euros of credits were recorded which, at the end of 2025, had not yet been transformed into collections. This is the estimate that emerges from the elaboration of Pina Puntillo, professor of the Department of Business and Legal Sciences of Unical and of Marisa Immacolata Ginese, general secretary of several Municipalities – among which there is also that of Cassano Jonio -, on the 2023-2025 reports available in the Public Administrations Database, managed by the Mef as of 26 August 2026. And it also represents the foundation stone of the radical change in relationship between the State and local authorities.
