Vardera enters the Budget Commission: «We have obtained what we deserve, no divine concession»

«I was appointed member of the Budget Commission, I thank my colleagues in the group who wanted to designate me as their representative. I would like to point out straight away that there is no additional emolument, the thing that will increase will be the work and that has never displeased me. We have obtained what is rightfully ours, no divine concession has been made to us” states the regional deputy and leader of Controcorrente, Ismaele La Vardera. «If we had not arrived at today’s solution, which led us to gracefully publicly recognize and express satisfaction – he adds – the president would still have proposed a reshuffling of the Commissions. If this had not happened, our protest would not have ceased, because no one can stop us from being in the mother commission of Parliament, the place where it is decided how and where the Sicilians’ money goes.”
