Cosenza isn’t getting on and in the Sila clan… nervousness is rising. The nervous breakdown experienced by the rossoblù team is illustrated by the disqualification received by sporting director Fabio Lucioni. Terni’s sporting director was yesterday banned from carrying out any activity, from holding federal positions and from representing the club in the FIGC until 9 October. The disqualification came following an episode that occurred in the tunnel of the “San Nicola” changing rooms and which for this reason escaped the cameras. The former defender of Frosinone, Benevento and Palermo was stopped by the sports judge because, at the end of the first half, he behaved “incorrectly and disrespectfully towards the referee”.
The statement released yesterday by Lega Pro revealed the details of the affair in detail. Lucioni approached Giuseppe Vingo of Pisa asking him for explanations on some episodes that occurred during the first 45 minutes. After a brief conversation, the Cosenza sporting director reiterated his conduct, preventing him from entering the changing rooms. He then apologized to the race director at the end of the race. A fine of 500 euros was also imposed on the Terni native.
