Crotone raises the bar. This evening, at 8.30pm, the rossoblù will be on stage at the “Massimino” against a Catania team built to aim for the jump in category.
For Leandro Greco’s team it will be an opportunity to measure the growth of personality and resistance against an opponent relaunched by the success obtained in Caserta. «These victories – says Greco – give energy and bring enthusiasm to an environment that already has a lot of it. I expect a race in which they will want to impose their thoughts.”
Catania has no shortage of top-level players and several former players, including Coda, Bruzzaniti and Dini, as well as coach Longo. But Greco does not intend to change the nature of his Crotone: «We will certainly not distort ourselves, because it is not a final nor an inside or outside match. It is a passage to understand how far we are from our things and from such important realities. We will go and do what we know, with adaptations, great humility and respect, looking for the result and points that we need for the ranking and for our path.”
