Crotone leaves the “San Nicola” with their heads held high, gaining a precious point on the field of the second strength of the championship, built to aim for direct promotion. A 0-0 draw for Mister Greco’s rossoblù, who can still complain about the opportunities created and not exploited. The Pythagoreans held the field well against the Apulians, creating dangerous situations, but not finding the precision necessary to conquer all that was at stake. Musso wasted two important opportunities: in the first half, served centrally by Zunno, he finished too close to Cerofolini; in the 90th minute, from a good position in the area, he sends it over the crossbar. In the middle there is the recovery of Grosso, protagonist of three close shots, one of which forces the Apulian goalkeeper to make a diving save. Bari has its best chance with Bianchi, imprecise in front of goal. In the final, the rossoblù remained tidy in defence, managing well and taking home a point obtained with an overall solid performance, but with the obvious limitation of the lack of effectiveness in the final metres, which prevented Greco’s team from exploiting the opportunities created.
