Third day of protest in Calabria for Fedralog hauliers and numerous farmers from the spontaneous movements who have been demonstrating on the roads for up to 10 days. The presence of trucks and tractors continues to dot the main road junctions in the region without, however, causing traffic blockages in any of the 15 areas affected. The hauliers’ protest will end, according to schedule, at 12pm on Tuesday 20th, the day on which, at 3pm, a Fedralog delegation will participate in the technical table set by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Matteo Salvini who yesterday decided to also convene the autonomous acronyms of the category of Calabria, Sicily and Puglia to the meeting in which the deputy minister Edoardo Rixi will also participate.

«The opening of a discussion with the Government – Fedralog reports – represents an important step, but the reasons that led to the mobilization remain on the table and the detention will continue until its natural conclusion scheduled for 20 October. The category will therefore continue to be present in the demonstrations organized in the Calabrian territory, maintaining a peaceful, orderly and responsible mobilization”.
