The Reggio police arrested a 34 -year -old Moroccan citizen, homeless, for resistance and threat to public officials.
The agents intervened in a bar-tabacchi of a service area in the northern area of the city, following the reporting of the owner about the presence of a subject, in an evident state of intoxication, intent on harassing the people present.
At the sight of the operators, the man, already known for the different criminal and police records as well as the recipient of multiple orders of expulsion from the territory, continued to manifest violent and threatening attitudes also against them, brandishing a bottle of glass and simulating the gesture of the “gorge size”.
After several mediation attempts, the man was immobilized thanks to the use of the electrical impulses (Taser) and arrested in the act for the crimes of resistance and threat to public officials, as well as reported for port and use of objects capable of offending.
In recent months, the arusted was the protagonist of a series of dangerous conduct: from the raid in a church during the performance of a religious function, to the denudation in a public place in the presence of women and minors, up to the climbing on the statue of the Athena in the Strait Arena, in the presence of numerous citizens and tourists, with consequent damage.
The arrest was validated by the judicial authority, which ordered its pre -trial detention at the Archillà district house.
