The Regional Agriculture and Rural Development Department has approved the provisional ranking of the public notice relating to action 4.1 of the PR Calabria FESR FSE+ 2021/2027, “a more inclusive Calabria” dedicated to the strengthening of interventions in favor of people and families in a critical need.
Thanks to a total allocation of 700 thousand euros, the measure will allow to activate essential food recovery and distribution initiatives, guaranteeing concrete relief to over 220 thousand Calabrian citizens in conditions of economic and social fragility.
Two Third Sector Bodies have been admitted to the financing that have been operating with commitment and capillarity in the area, the Banco Food Association of Calabria ODV and the Banco delle Works of Carità Calabria for years.
Through the collaboration between institutions, associations and local businesses, the project aims not only to providing basic necessities, but also to promote social inclusion, solidarity and a stable support network for those who live situations of greater vulnerability.
