Fortunately, an accident without serious consequences occurred this morning on the A20 Messina-Palermo motorway, between the Rocca di Capri Leone and Sant’Agata Militello junctions.
The trailer of a lorry proceeding towards Palermo in fact detached itself from the tractor and ended up overturned on one side. Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle who immediately raised the alarm was uninjured. No other vehicles were involved.
A patrol from the Sant’Agata Militello Traffic Police promptly arrived on site to regulate vehicular transit which suffered inevitable slowdowns, awaiting the removal of the accidented vehicle.
