A road accident occurred this morning along the A20 Messina-Palermo motorway. Around 5 o’clock, a car lost control by slamming against the guardrail inside the “Madonna di Montauto” gallery, just before the Villafranca Tirrena toll booth.
The driver, who was slightly injured, was rescued and transported by ambulance to the Polyclinic for investigations.
The traffic police officers and the rescue teams intervened on the accident site to secure the area and reconstruct the exact dynamics of the incident.
