Road tragedy at dawn in the Messina area. Around 4 in the morning, an autonomous scooter accident occurred in the San Gregorio area, in Capo d’Orlando, along the SS 113, on the Antinori viaduct. In the violent impact with the asphalt, an 18-year-old young man, Edoardo Ratto, lost his life, and the medical workers who intervened promptly were unable to do anything other than confirm his death.
The victim, who was driving the two-wheeler, lost control. The passenger traveling with him, a 20-year-old, was instead transported under code red to the “Barone Romeo” hospital in Patti with multiple fractures.
Investigations are underway by the police who intervened to carry out the investigations. Also present was the deputy public prosecutor at the Court of Patti, Vittorio Fiume.
