Fueling the debate is a recent comment published on social media by the regional coordinator of South calls North. Under a suggestive photo portraying the Gulf of Patti, with the Aeolian Islands in the background, Danilo Lo Giudice launched a provocation to his followers: «It was not a séance, but a pleasant meeting with a breathtaking view. We are in a municipality in the province of Messina, with Sud Gioca Nord which is ready to take the field with its proposal. Let’s see who can guess the municipality?”.
Behind the guessing game lies, in reality, a very specific political strategy. According to rumours, the meeting represents yet another piece of an intense dialogue already started in recent months between the regional leaders of ScN and the local exponents of the movement.
