For both, the Nepal Police document reports the personal data and belonging, respectively, to the Italy and Switzerland categories, without any indication of rescue having taken place. The couple lives in Lugano.
The number of victims was 750
The death toll from the devastating floods that hit Nepal and the border areas with China on Wednesday rises to 750. According to the Nepalese authorities, there are 734 victims and 2,498 missing. On the Chinese side, state media reports 16 dead and 546 missing. The overall toll from the disaster is therefore 750 victims and 3,044 people still missing.
