An arrest for drugs in Scalea. It was carried out by the Flying Squad of the Cosenza Police Headquarters and the Diamante Police Station, coordinated by the Paola Prosecutor’s Office directed by Domenico Fiordalisi, at the end of a service aimed at combating the phenomenon of drug dealing. The police subjected a subject residing in the aforementioned municipality to control who, after a personal and home search, was found to be in possession of approximately 500 grams of marijuana and 25 grams of hashish, part of which was already packaged and ready for sale, as well as the sum of money of 11,300 euros.
Conducted to the offices of the Diamante police station, the man, at the end of the technical investigations, was declared under arrest for the crime of possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing and, upon order of the Paola Prosecutor’s Office, the pre-cautionary measure of house arrest was ordered.
At the end of the hearing to validate the arrest and direct judgement, he was subjected to the daily signature requirement.
