The Parliamentary Anti -Mafia Commission, as part of the checks carried out regarding the candidates for the regional elections in Calabria, found – on the basis of the appropriate self -regulation code – the presence of three candidates deemed ‘unpresentable’: Orlando Fazzolari (we moderate), Filomena Greco (reformist house for Calabria -Italy Viva) and Orlandino Greco (League for Salvini Calabria).
Filomena Greco: against me media pillory
“A media pillory that is renewed with little meaning from each electoral appointment from a concrete point of view and which has the only consequence of mealing to public indignation political personalities that for years – as in my case – have been waiting for the conclusion of investigations that have lasted for too long”. So Filomena Greco, regional coordinator of Calabria of Italia Viva and leaders in Cosenza for the reformist house for the regional elections of 5 and 6 October, comments on his inclusion in the list of unpresentable by the Parliamentary Anti -Mafia Commission.
“Of the fight against clans – he adds – I made a flag of my political action and these poisons will not stop me. We are at the paradox so I ask for the process because I want my total extraneousness to the disputed facts and in return I find myself an indefinite period policy. In the meantime, the Court of Cassation depends on the alleged possible crime from corruption to abuse of office. I wonder who will pay for the damage that these methods of political struggle are getting me and asking if you have to stay for life under investigation and therefore unable to express themselves politically and if all this does not fall into a maneuver to overturn the rules of a correct democratic game. These poisons will not stop my political action that aims to bring cleaning and correctness to the top of the region. I am sure that the trap of the unpresentable will bring me further consents because the electorate is tired of these games ».
