The blue: “Tomorrow raise the level”
«I was ahead by a break twice in the first set but I didn’t convert. I put myself in a difficult situation. I’m happy with how I finished the match, I felt much better”: this is how Jannik Sinner comments on the success against Francisco Cerundolo which earned him qualification to the quarter-finals of the Masters 1000 in Paris. “Every match is difficult – he added – I hope to recover physically which is the priority. Let’s try to manage the situation, it’s not that I’m fresh, we’ll see. Today wasn’t a very physical match, luckily, I finished in an hour and a half and I hope to be ready for tomorrow. I’ll have to be 100% because the opponent is of a high level and I will have to raise it too. For today I am very happy.”
