The precautionary measure compensates the results of complex investigations, coordinated by the Neapolitan District Anti -Mafia Directorate and conducted, between 2022 and 2023, by the Naples mobile team, which have reconstructed and documented the structure and operations of the Mazarella clan and some of its main joints on the territory of the capital and the province of Naples.
Specifically, the subject arrested by the Cosenza mobile team has always been contiguous to the aforementioned criminal consortium. For the trace and capture of the arrest, the staff of the Mobile Squad of Cosenza has performed several observation services, which lasted many hours even at night, confusing among the numerous tourists, in a high criminal density area in particular bell, managing to trace it, despite the few data in possession of the operators, within an anonymous apartment.
The provision in question is a precautionary measure, carried out in the preliminary investigations, against which the means of appeal are allowed, and the recipients of the same are people subjected to the investigations and, as such, alleged innocent up to a definitive sentence.
