Classification of the Botricello Sea as excellent. These are the results that emerge from the analyzes carried out both by Arpacal, the regional agency for the protection of the environment, and from the multiservice company that manages the purification system.
The data therefore confirm the meticulous work that has been carrying out since the beginning of the legislature, thanks to various maintenance and enhancement interventions of the purification plant financed by the Calabria Region thanks to the attention addressed on the topic by the President Roberto Occhiuto.
The results communicated place the coast of Botricello as one of the best on the Calabrian coast. An important objective, but which obviously does not prevent the municipal administration from continuing to work to monitor the quality of the sea during the summer season, in collaboration with Port Authority, Arpacal and all the bodies involved.
Attention always remains high compared to the quality of bathing waters, even in front of the reports that come from bathers on formations that may seem suspicious. After the appropriate checks, supported by the data of the analyzes carried out, we can give reassurances prove that the phenomena that have been present for some time now are attributable to the now increasingly common “algal flowering”, a natural phenomenon explained and clarified also by the Arpacal through an explanatory note that can be consulted on the Agency’s website.
