“The Court of Auditors, as part of the current examination on the recent Cipess resolution of approval of the final project of the bridge over the Strait of Messina, subject to legitimacy control, has transmitted to the Dipe – Department for the programming and coordination of the economic policy of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, some observations and requests for clarifications and documentary additions”, explains the CEO of the Strait of Messina, Pietro Ciucci.
“The Court Control Office has not expressed any rejection, a judgment of inadequacy or requests for integration of the final project. Strait of Messina, in agreement with the institutions concerned, is ready to provide all the useful elements to allow the Court to complete the investigation aimed at the registration of the Cipess resolution, in the awareness of having operated in full compliance with the provisions of the Italian and European legislation”.
