It is not a farewell but the beginning of a new political phase. In the “Rita Atria” room, former councilor Nuccio Ricciardello summoned journalists to talk about his exclusion from the Laccoto council, “a rupture – he said – that is purely political and not technical. The fulcrum of his outburst is the “betrayal” of the agreement signed in 2019: a loyalty pact crucial for the victory of the coalition. “Today that agreement has been ignored. I would have preferred greater frankness: I would have liked them to tell me that I am being replaced because I am not I think like the mayor, rather than hearing about a general lack of cohesion.”
