The Regional Assembly of Action, meeting yesterday afternoon at the city club of Lamezia Terme under the guidance of the regional secretary Francesco De Nisi and the President Giuseppe Grazianofaced the key points for the future of the party in Calabria.
The meeting highlighted the urgency to define regional bodies within a couple of weeks. It is a need also urged by the National Directorate. The party is preparing for an intense autumn: the 2025 membership will start in September, while the regional congress will be held in autumn for natural expiry, also involving the provincial congresses.
During the assembly, congratulations and best wishes for good work were addressed to Giuseppe Aieta, Mayor in Cetraro, Annita Vitalecity councilor and city secretary Lamezia Terme, Marianna Saragòdeputy mayor of Paola, e Maurizio Marchesecity councilor elected to Spadola. Congratulations were also aimed at all elected action in the recent administrative elections.
On the political front, the point at work in progress at the regional level: headlights aimed, in particular (among other things), on the next regional elections: the need has been highlighted to strengthen the role in the political grouping of belonging, underlining the strategic value of opening further to centriste and moderate forces. The goal, in this direction, is to build a deployment (list) as strong as possible.
The discussion also touched the completion of the regional statutory organs and the next stages to consolidate the party roots throughout the Calabrian territory. This is why the assembly works have also reinforced and reiterated the ideal director who animates the party: concreteness, ideas, seriousness of intent and feasible programs to give real answers to the issues of populations and citizens.
The intent is to continue to insist on this “virtuous – virtuoso – in unison path – in the conviction of finding the growing support of the people who, with the consent granted so far, is showing that he saw a new way of understanding and doing politics in action”.
