Political savings to support the right to university study. Yesterday, the third commission (health and social and training activities) of the Regional Council gave the unanimous green light to the law proposed by the group leader of Forza Italia, Domenico Giannetta, «which – claims the promoter himself – is part of the broader strategy that the Region is building on the future of the new generations».
A series of technical amendments voted again yesterday, according to the majority, “strengthen the legal solidity and full coherence with the national regulatory framework” of the text. «This proposal arises from a simple but profoundly political idea: the savings from politics – adds Giannetta – can be transformed into an opportunity for young people. Today that principle becomes even stronger because it is part of an organic strategy that aims to make the right to study, merit and university education one of the pillars of Calabria’s development.”
