At Capo d’Orlando, a 45 -year -old, already known to the police for specific crimes, was arrested by the carabinieri of Sant’Agata di Militello on charges of production and possession of drugs for drug dealing purposes.
The man was stopped during an anti -drug service while driving a scooter. The suspicious attitude held at the sight of the military pushed the carabinieri to proceed with a check. During the search, over 20 grams of marijuana hidden in the rear compartment of the vehicle were found. The military then extended the search for the home and places in the availability of humans, finding more than 400 grams of marijuana already dried and ready for drug dealing, in addition to eleven cannabis plants about one meter high, grown in a handmade greenhouse inside a land attached to the home.
The 45 -year -old was placed under house arrest at the disposal of the judicial authority. The seized drug was sent to the Carabinieri of the Ris of Messina for laboratory analyzes.
