Capo d’Orlando, loss of chance: in the twenty -eight concilian with Palazzo Europa

With 4,000 euros each closes the economic dispute started by 28 employees of the Municipality of Capo d’Orlando for loss of chance.
The 28 employees, represented by the CSA union theme, have reconciled the agreement proposed by Palazzo Europa and will receive the 4,000 euros each in two installments, one of 3,500 euros in these days and the other, of 500, by February 26 next year.
The controversy dates back to 2020 when the Municipality of Capo d’Orlando decided to reconstruct six employees by increasing them the time of 24 to 36 hours. The other employees with reduced hours not interpeered resorted to the loss of chance some turned to the work judge through the CGIL and obtained favorable sentences. Others, however, adhered to the conciliation edited by the CSA which has defined themselves in these hours.
Therefore, the long season of trade union disputes must be diminished which, in recent years, had seen harsh contrasts between employees and the municipal administration due to salaries and emoluments accessories not paid punctually. There were many protests that also resulted on strikes.
