The fight against the ghost B&B hosting tourists and vacationers without registering it begins to bear fruit. In the first eight months of this year, in fact, the municipal coffers collected, for the tourist tax that tourists pay for every overnight stay in accommodation facilities, as many as 10% more than last year. Collected, on 31 August, 187,135 euros compared to 170,043 euros of the same period last year. The Councilor for the Budget Enza Giacoponello gars who, three years ago, had been the promoter of the institution of the tax both to give breath to the municipal coffers afflicted by the state of pre-meter of the Municipality, and to encourage the financing of interventions on tourism, maintenance and recovery of local cultural heritage and services.
