The mayor of Catanzaro Nicola Fiorita has given Salvatore Bullotta, the current Head of Cabinet, the role of councilor of the municipal council, entrusting him with responsibilities for general affairs, public education, youth policies, artistic and cultural heritage, historical archive and library system.
The appointment of Salvatore Bullotta and the change in the Council with Vincenzo Costantino arises from the need to strengthen political and administrative coordination, ensuring full continuity and operation of the Administration’s action in the final phase of the mandate.
Sincere thanks go to Vincenzo Costantino – we read in the note released by the municipal administration – for the commitment and work carried out in recent years, in particular in the sectors of Tourism, Territorial Marketing and Digital Transition, contributing to the promotion of our city.
The start of the last part of the mandate requires, however, a different organization of responsibilities and an even closer integration between political direction, the activities of the Council and the administrative machinery. It is in this perspective that Salvatore Bullotta’s choice matures.
In the role of head of Cabinet which he leaves today, Bullotta followed the administration’s activities on a daily basis, acquiring in-depth knowledge of the main dossiers, programmatic priorities and organizational mechanisms of the organisation. His entry into the executive will therefore ensure continuity of the work already planned and, at the same time, full operation from the first moment, without slowing down in a particularly significant phase of the council.
The political meaning of this choice is all here: to put the administration in a position to face the final stretch of the mandate with maximum effectiveness. We have important months ahead of us, in which we will have to complete paths already started, consolidate the results achieved and give the necessary acceleration to the projects still underway.
