The Prosecutor of the Republic of Catanzaro closed the investigations on an alleged criminal association aimed at drug dealing. There are 17 suspects who, according to the accusation, would have been part of an organization managed the drug dealing squares in the districts of Orangeo, Santa Maria and Catanzaro Lido. The group between 2017 and 2018 would have managed to sell quantities of cocaine and, to a lesser extent, of marijuana. There are 34 charges contested by the deputy prosecutors Silvia Peru and Debora Rizza. Promoter and organizer of the group would have been the 38 -year -old Nicola Manetta who is contested by the specific, repeated and infraquinquennial recidivism. For the investigators to him, the task of “directing and coordinating the activities of the individual associates, to identify supply channels and supplies the subjects deputies to the shop on behalf of the association” would have been up to him. The associative crime is contested to four other suspects: Giovanni Veneziano, 45 years old; Costantin Adrian Bhagat, 38 years old; Walter Pio Carmelo Berlingeri, 27 years old; Giovanni Cimino 29 years.
