Piazza Dogana turned last night into a stage of celebration and tradition for the start of “inside the border. Music, dialogues and flavors between land and sea”, the new review of the Catanzaro summer inserted in “Estarte 2025”.

The protagonist of the inaugural evening was “Zampalesta u dog storm”, a show of traditional Calabrian puppets conceived and interpreted by Angelo Gallo, who was able to conquer young and old with irony and poetry. Hundreds of the presences between the public, with many families and children who have crowded Piazza Dogana, once again testifying to the desire to live together moments of culture and sociability.

The free review is the result of the collaboration with the “Pi Tchaikovsky” Conservatory and with the Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro, and will accompany Lido throughout August and the beginning of September with music, theater and entertainment appointments (click here to see all the events of Estarte 2025).

“Inside the border” is part of continuity with the path of Estarte 2025, which has already given the city the free concert of Serena Brancale at the port last August 6 – with thousands of spectators – up to the sharing of the event with Fausto Leali inserted in “Sapore di Mare” by Antonio Ursino.

The appointment is now for this evening, always in Piazza Dogana, with a concert that will see three young and talented musicians on stage: Francesco Cerullo on the piano, Giacomo Cerullo on the double bass and electric bass and Guido Rovere on drums. The start is scheduled at 22.00.
