In the Assembly of the members of Comalca Scrl, held on September 25, Giovanni Ferrarelli was elected president of the board of directors.
The designation took place on the proposal of the Municipality of Catanzaro, represented by the commissioner Giuliana Furrer, delegated by the mayor Nicola Fiorita, and found the unanimous consent of the members present, including the Chamber of Commerce of Catanzaro and the Assorte, confirming the common will to strengthen the development and modernization path of the regional agri -food market.
During the Assembly, thanks to the outgoing president Daniele Maria Ciranni were addressed for the excellent work done during his mandate, characterized by commitment, vision and constant attention to the growth of the Consortium and the strengthening of the role of Comalca in the Calabrian agri -food panorama.
The new president Ferrarelli expressed his gratitude for the trust received, underlining how the assignment represents a great responsibility and a commitment to the growth of the sector: “I sincerely thank the shareholders and institutions – says Ferrarelli – who have supported my election. I take this assignment with a sense of responsibility and with the commitment to make Comalca more and more a point of reference for the Calabrian agri -food. Our challenge is to give value to the products of our land, improve the services of our land. and build together a model of sustainable and innovative growth. “
The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Catanzaro, Pietro Falbo, remarked as the guide of dr. Ferrarelli represents a guarantee of continuity and competence, remembering that Comalca is a strategic infrastructure for the Calabrian economic fabric and that the Chamber of Commerce will be at the side of the Consortium to strengthen synergies with local businesses and producers.
The president of Assort, Lorenzo Russo, has finally declared that the operators of the fruit and vegetable sector look confidently to the new presidency and that the shared goal is to enhance Calabrian productions, ensure transparency and quality in the distribution and defend the work of agricultural entrepreneurs, adding that with the new course we expect a strengthening of the supply chains and new market opportunities.
The president of Op. Esperia, Mario Migliase, was added, who inaugurating good work to the new president expressed, particular applause, for the commitment already shown.
With this election, therefore, a new phase for Comalca opens, which under the guidance of Ferrarelli will continue to work to enhance the agri -food excellence of Calabria, innovate logistics, promote sustainability, strengthen institutional and associative relationships and offer more services to local operators and communities, thus confirming a strategic infrastructure capable of uniting institutions, businesses and operators in a common growth and development project.
