Music and dances by the sea, but without the necessary authorizations. This is what the agents of the administrative police of the Police Headquarters of Catanzaro have discovered, who in recent days have carried out a series of controls aimed at the seafood bathing establishments, in particular in the Giovino area, to verify the regularity of organized public events.
During the inspection activity, the policemen ascertained the conduct of a dance evening in a seaside beach without the necessary authorizations provided for by the law for the opening to the public of shows and detention. For this reason, the owner of the activity was referred to the judicial authority for violation of article 681 of the criminal code, in relation to article 80 of the consolidated text of the public security laws (Tulps), and the relative administrative sanction was also high against him.
The intervention is part of the wider control plan prepared by the Police Headquarters, on the impulse of the Quaestor of Catanzaro, aimed at contrasting commercial abusiveness and the phenomenon of “Malamovida”, often associated with situations of irregularities and risk for public safety.
Particular attention is paid to the protection of minors and the most vulnerable categories, also as regards compliance with the regulations on the administration of food and drinks.
The State Police renews the invitation to all the managers of the public exercises to comply with current regulations, warning that in the event of reiteration of the ascertained violations, the suspension or revocation of the license could be triggered.
