Two catanzaro gyms could be at the center of a vast trafficking of doping substances. This is what hypothesizes the investigation conducted by the Carabinieri of the NAS and coordinated by the Public Prosecutor of the Calabrian capital. The investigation that at the moment sees four people investigated, including two Personal Trainer Catanzaro, has led to over thirty searches throughout Italy, involving, among others, some national level body builders.
The investigative activity started after a check of the customs office on a package from Mexico and intended for Catanzaro. The expedition was cataloged as “to be assembled” but once the envelope inside a toy opened anabolic drugs for veterinary use from South America and without the necessary authorizations. The recipient was a Catanzaro already owner of a gym and passionate about sports disciplines such as body building.
