Claude returned to normal operation after the problems recorded on the afternoon of Tuesday 29 September. Anthropic has communicated that all services have been operational since 4.59pm Italian time and that the situation remains under monitoring.
The outage affected Claude.ai, Claude Code, Claude Cowork and Claude API, with errors in conversations, difficulties in accessing, problems in starting new chats, in voice sessions, in purchases and in uploading files.
According to the official update, most of the services were already available again shortly before 5pm. However, a possible side effect remained: some messages sent between 4pm and 4.59pm may not have been saved.
At 5.30pm Italian time, Anthropic then specified that all services were functioning normally and that technicians were continuing to monitor the platform.
The problem began around 4pm, when errors increased on Claude.ai and other connected services, with a simultaneous peak in reports from users.
