The carabinieri of the Soveria Mannelli company are frontally engaged in the fight against the spread of drugs in the mountain area of Reventino and the Sila Piccola Catanzaro.
Lastly, in the early hours of 5 September, the military of the weapon, jointly with the “Calabria” Helpful Hunter Squadron, equipped with dog units for the search for drugs, found and subjected to seizure with a large planting of Indian hemp, consisting of about 4,800 variable height plants between 1 and 2 meters, which, once in the detail, would have yielded about 2.5 million Euro.
Investigations are underway to establish the traceability of the drug found which will be destroyed, subject to sampling aimed at establishing, through laboratory chemical analysis, the active ingredient contained.
