Cosenza pays for two serious errors and leaves Potenza with three points at the end of a match that could have had a different epilogue. It ends 1-2, with Bura deciding the match with a corner kick in the 51st minute of the second half, when the equalizer seemed to have been won.
The rossoblù’s start is to be forgotten: after just a minute Dametto loses the ball under the pressure of Kirwan, who appears in front of Iliev and scores the 0-1. Cosenza grows as the minutes pass, relying above all on Palazzino’s initiatives, while in the 41st minute McJannet hits the top corner.
In the second half Coppitelli introduced Pascalau and Petrovic and the team changed pace. In the 4th minute Dametto, after a clearance by Cucchietti following Dalmazzi’s header, found the equaliser. Cosenza pushes and comes close to overtaking first with Ciotti, stopped by the goalkeeper, then with McJannet.
When the 1-1 now seemed definitive, in the 51st minute Bura found the winning deflection on the corner and froze the rossoblù. A good reaction remains, but also the weight of two decisive inattentions in key moments.
