The summer fire. The Democratic Party is moving towards the commissionership of the provincial federation. After the resignation of Matteo Lettieri, the hypothesis of electing Francesco De Luca has faded. In the meantime, the Dem components are agitated, inflaming administrative life. The deputy mayor Maria Locanto, linked to the parliamentarian Francesco Boccia and also well regarded by the former regional group leader, Mimmo Bevacqua, is questioned by four municipal councilors: the president of the assembly, Giuseppe Mazzuca and the councilor Assunta Mascaro attributable to the area of the former minister Andrea Orlando; Francesco Alimena and Massimiliano D’Antonio close to the positions of the former regional councilor Nicola Adamo and the former parliamentarian Enza Bruno Bossio. The four members of the Democratic Party also ask for the removal of the current coordinator of the group at Palazzo dei Bruzi, Francesco Graziadio. Substantial support seems to be offered to the “protesters” by the city secretary, Rosy Caligiuri and the former regional councilor Carlo Guccione. In such a frayed situation, the absence of a provincial secretary probably prevents mediation capable of stemming the “fires” that have been triggered.
