Cosenza, rags fly in the Council: disagreements in the majority

The quarrel seems to have been quickly resolved, but Yesterday morning at Palazzo dei Bruzi the group leaders’ meeting saw some bickering, even among the majority representatives themselves. In the background, the proposal (advanced by some councilors) to include in the agenda of tomorrow’s civic assembly other points in addition to the topics already included in the list of issues to be addressed.
The president of the municipal assembly, Giuseppe Mazzuca, communicated them to his colleagues at the bench, with respect to which, however, some members of the government team, together with the minority, have expressed the intention to deal with them during a separate session, in order to be able to dedicate the necessary time and space to the practices.
In essence, it is about the Caffè Alzheimer of Sant’Ippolito and the finance project concerning the new concession for tax collection. In fact, tax rates will be discussed, among other things, during tomorrow’s meeting, as well as the recent affair concerning the reopening of via Vittorio Emanuele, the subject of debate, in recent days, in the Control and Guarantee and Public Works commissions, ready to ignite heated controversy between the opposing factions of the administration.
Yesterday morning, therefore, the idea of gathering all these assumptions in a single container would have seemed inappropriate, especially to the members of the opposition (against, for example, Giuseppe d’Ippolito) and of the autonomous group (Bianca Rende), but also to councilors belonging to the mayor’s team, Franz Caruso (Raffaele Fuorivia), as well as to the group leader of “Democracy and Participation”, Francesco Graziadio.
By late morning, therefore, the spirits had calmed down, so much so that today it seems a further meeting of the group leaders has been called to establish the exact calendar of the topics.
