A heartfelt appeal, addressed to all the rossoblù people, for a truce that can bring warmth and support back to the stands of San Vito-Marulla at least until the January transfer window. It is the one spread by Spontaneous committee of Cosenza fanssigned by the promoter Carlo Rinaldo, who intervenes in the most delicate phase of the protest against the company.

The statement opens with a strong and unequivocal recognition: “Honor to the Cosenza ultras!”. A tribute to a group of fans who, according to the Committee, carried out a “high and civil” form of protest, choosing the most painful path for a supporter: deserting home matches. A choice defined as an “example for all of Italy”, as it is evidence of attachment to the values and dignity of cheering.

However, the document also highlights the suffering of those who feel the stadium is an indispensable “home”: a place which, it is underlined, “belongs neither to the club nor to the Municipality, but only to the fans”. And it is precisely from this feeling that the request to temporarily suspend the protest arises.

“The team is fighting for the shirt”

The Committee motivates the appeal by observing the behavior of the team and coach Buscè, defined as engaged in a battle “against everything and everyone”: against the absence of the club and against refereeing decisions considered penalizing, “even worse than other years”.

On the other hand, the statement denounces the attitude of the president, described as a “stingy” and “insensitive” figure to the protests, now “the laughing stock of all of Italy”. Harsh words that confirm the now irreconcilable distance between the property and a large part of the square.

A strategic truce

The proposal is clear: return to the stadium until January to support those on the pitch who are honoring the shirt and, at the same time, “intimidate” them in the possible temptation to weaken the squad during the winter transfer window.

The Committee reiterates that the protest has already achieved a historic result, becoming part of the memory of the national support and contributing to “burying” the image of the current ownership. Precisely for this reason, we invite a pause phase, without however excluding future initiatives should the situation worsen.

Thanks to the ultras

In closing, a new recognition arrives for the ultras world: “unique, spectacular, and impossible for any president to humiliate”.
