Andrea Mele, student of the fifth year of the “GB Scorza” scientific high school in Cosenza, was selected among the 20 young people who make up the Jury of the Golden Lemoncourse at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.
Chosen among the adult students for its school merits, Mele represents the city of Cosenza and the whole of Calabria in a cultural context of great prestige.
An opportunity for growth
Special thanks was addressed to the president of Anec Calabria, Giuseppe Citrigno, for the constant commitment that made this important opportunity for growth for young people possible.
From this year, in fact, the David Giovani Prize and the Golden Lemonclide include among the institutional initiatives of the National Cinema and Images For School (CIPS), promoted by the Ministry of Culture (Mic) and the Ministry of Education and Merit (MIM).
With enthusiasm, the high school has also announced that a new group of students is already working to participate in the jury of the next edition.
