An important operation against drug dealing was carried out by the Carabinieri of the Bagnara Calabra station, who a local couple arrested in flagrante delicto near the Filippo Turati seafront.
In fact, during a normal territorial control service, the military noticed the two stationed on the shoreline intent on managing a marijuana dealing market. In particular, they witnessed suspicious exchanges between drug dealers and some customers.
During the operation, several grams of marijuana and almost 300 euros in small denomination banknotes were seized, believed to be probable proceeds from the drug dealing activity. After the validation hearing, the two were arrested subjected to precautionary measures in prison.
