Crotone, approved the municipal plan for the right to study for the school year 2025/2026

The City Council, on the proposal of the Councilor for Education Nicola Corigliano, approved the annual municipal plan for the right to study for the school year 2025/2026 which concerns a series of interventions and services that the Administration has prepared to guarantee the right to study to students of the municipal relevant schools.

Among these, the school transport for which a service provided for an audience of about 600 pupils and school refection is estimated (about 1,400 pupils for 110,000 meals).

Further interventions are foreseen through economic support to be allocated to students with the disbursement of book coupons and the delivery of contributions for the purchase of textbooks.

The annual plan summarizes all the interventions envisaged by the Administration in favor of a school audience of a total of 5770, given estimated on the basis of the requests for enrollments communicated by schools.

The main aim of the plan is the full achievement of the right to study, the reduction of educational poverty levels and the contrast to the exclusion of the weakest bands from the school system.

There are support actions to the school inclusion of disabled pupils, in particular content benefits and social – educational – professional profile functional to learning processes to the socialization of pupils.

The intervention, which concerns an audience of 340 pupils, will be implemented with specialized professionals who will help pupils in scheduled teaching activities, during game and laboratory activities and in case of need or during the refection for the help of the correct hiring of food and/or in education visits.
