Two minors of 17 years arrested, one of which with specific precedents, for detention for the purpose of drug dealing of the hashish type.
The arrests took place as part of an activity that the flyers have long been conducting, also through the use of motorized patrols called “Nibbio” to counter the phenomenon of drug dealing among the youngest visitors of the oldest part of the city of Crotone. The observation activity, launched by the agents of the Flying Squad, made it possible to pay attention to the two minors who on several occasions have entertained frequent contacts with other peers already known to the police.
An accommodation facility was thus identified, more precisely a B&B of the city center, used by the two to dwell despite residing in the city, to evade any home searches by preserving the drug in a place they deemed safe.
A search was thus arranged in the room occupied by the two minors, also extended to the appurtenances of the property, during which 57 grams of amazing substance of the hashish type were found and seized, partly already divided into doses and ready to be placed on the market.
The substance had been well hidden, surrounded by a light -colored paper, inside the closet in the bedroom. In addition to the amazing substance, a precision balance of the same substance, packaging material and the overall sum of 200 euros in small cut banknotes, considered the proceeds of the illegal activity, were found and seized. At the end of the formalities of the ritual, the two minors were arrested and translated at the penitentiary institution for the minors of Catanzaro, available to the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Juvenile Court, which validated the arrest.
During the control services of the territory, the agents of the Flying Squad identified 257 people, of which 22 non -EU citizens and 35 with police records, and controlled 190 vehicles. Also, the operators reported to Mr. Prefect a subject who, at the time of control, was found in possession of an envelope containing amazing substance of the cocaine type that was subjected to seizure, in addition to having found another amazing substance of the hashish type seized against unknown persons. Finally, the agents denounced a man for evasion, since surprised outside their home despite being subjected to the measure of home detention.
