The controls of the “Safe Summer” plan will continue by the Quaestor of Crotone Renato Panvino and the Commander of the Port Authority, to ensure compliance with the rules on public safety, food and at work.
During the inspections, jointly conducted by the State Police, Port Authority and Territorial Labor Inspectorate, numerous irregularities were ascertained in various commercial activities of the Crotone coast.
Among the main measures:
– a complaint to the judicial authority for the abusive realization of a work in the thirty meters band from the sea;
– a penalty of 3,000 euros for non -presentation of the health trail;
– a penalty of 1,500 euros for non -traceability of fish products, with a seizure of 14 kg of goods;
– a fine of 6,400 euros for irregular work, with suspension of the activity;
– a penalty of 3,672 euros and seizure of a motorcycle of water for driving without nautical license.
In addition, deficiencies related to medical examinations, staff training and failure to comply with safety legislation in the workplace emerged.
At the same time, the control activities of the territory led to the identification of 2,234 people, of which 391 with precedents, and the control of 882 vehicles, with 15 fines and a seizure.
The checks will continue in the next few days, with particular attention to the bathing and accommodation facilities in the province of Crotone.
