The territorial control services arranged by the police commissioner of the province of Crotone, Renato Panvino, continue, aimed at the prevention and repression of crimes, with particular attention to the fight against drug dealing and the monitoring of subjects subjected to restrictive measures.
During the activities, the agents of the General Prevention and Public Relief Office arrested a man from Crotone believed to be responsible for the crime of escape. The man, already burdened by precedents also for possession of clandestine weapons, was subjected to the house arrest regime for the crime of murder.
According to what was reconstructed by the operators, he was caught outside his home in violation of the provisions imposed by the judicial authority and without any authorization justifying his removal. For this reason he was arrested and taken to the offices of the Police Headquarters, where, having completed the formalities, he was placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
On the same day, the police also identified 366 people, checked 176 vehicles and carried out checks on subjects subjected to measures limiting personal freedom.
The operation is part of the daily surveillance and control activities of the territory carried out by the State Police in the province of Crotone, with the aim of preventing illicit conduct and ensuring greater safety for citizens.
