Crotone, the opposition tries to “sting”. But the commissioner is moving away

The opposition is trying to keep attention high on the issue of the disputed attack on councilor Ernesto Ioppoli by mayor Vincenzo Voce who, as is known, then submitted his resignation on Tuesday and apologized to the councilor himself. The majority that supports the resigning mayor – as demonstrated by Wednesday’s council meeting – holds. As well as “the party” against the early dissolution of the elective bodies which will in any case be renewed next spring.

But the opponents opened another front yesterday and turned the spotlight on the petition launched online by Voce supporters asking the mayor to go back on his decision to resign. In a note sent to the general secretary of the Municipality, seven opposition councilors (Fabrizio Meo, Anna Maria Cantafora, Enrico Pedace, Andrea Devona, Andrea Tesoriere, Antonio Manica and Giuseppe Fiorino) complained about an alleged “undue use of the logo of the Municipality of Crotone”.
